Cocosorb (g)Series Granular Activated Carbon With Mesh Size 1 Kg is made from raw organic materials (such as coconut shells or coal) that are high in carbon. Heat, in the absence of oxygen, is used to increase (activate) the surface area of the carbon. It is s a porous adsorption media with extremely high internal surface area. It is a method of thermally processing the activated carbon to destroy the adsorbed components contained on its surface.
