Peak Instruments S-100 Intelligent Stirrer uses a rotating magnetic field to stir a non-magnetic liquid in a container. The rotating field is created by a magnet mounted on the stirrer underneath the container. As the magnet rotates, it creates a rotating magnetic field that extends into the liquid.
