Product Description
MNT Enviro Tech Piezometer (Size-7 Inch) is used to measure underground water pressure. It converts water pressure to a frequency signal via a diaphragm and a tensioned steel wire. A change in pressure on the diaphragm causes a change in tension of the wire. It cannot be used to measure the very high pressure of a liquid, because in that case a long glass tube will be required. Gas pressure cannot be measured by means of piezometers because a gas forms no free atmosphere surface and it can't be used when large pressures in the lighter liquid are to be measured. So gauge pressure is used for measuring low pressure. Piezometer is used to measure the static pressure (Gauge) in the pipe.
