Therainfall measuring unit consists of a float chamber containing a light metalfloat and a siphen chamber. The float rises asper the rainfall & so the recording pen also rises plotting a line of onthe chart. When the siphen chamber is filled completely, the water in it drainsout completely called "Siphoning".
