Advanced Electro-coagulation, Oxidation and Separation. (AEOS) system isan attractive method for the treatment of various kinds of industrial wastewater. It destroys all microorganisms; inactivate micro-constituents such asEDCs (endocrine disrupting chemicals) and PPCPs (pharmaceuticals andpersonal care products); oxidizes organics and color and odor-causingcompounds; coagulates suspended material, and co-precipitate metals. As adisinfectant, AEOS needs very little contact time to be effective, so largecontact chambers become unnecessary.
