RS PRO CW602N Double Check Valve 28 mm Compression 10 bar is manufactured using durable DZR copper alloy in accordance with BS EN 12420 standards, combined with CW602N copper quality for enhanced corrosion resistance and reliability in water systems.

This valve type is designed as a double check valve to prevent backflow and back-siphonage that could contaminate potable water supplies, critical for domestic and commercial plumbing installations.

The valve body is made of dezincification resistant (DZR) copper alloy, while cartridge components use plastic, ensuring both durability and smooth operation. Other parts like test plugs and ‘O’ rings are made of robust nylon/brass and nitrile/EPDM rubber materials respectively, and compression nuts plus olives feature brass construction.
