Shiftable, Extendable and Relocatable Conveyors Provide greater flexibility and increased accessibility in your mining operation, while you reduce operating costs. Shiftable/relocatable and extendable conveyors allow you to efficiently transport high volumes of material, yet they are easily movable as the mine develops and expands. Our shiftable and relocatable conveyors comprise individual conveyor structures that are not connected to each other, and are mounted on skids. The skids connect longitudinally with rails. As the mine expansion requires the conveyor to shift, the belt tension is slackened, and a bulldozer or truck is used to pulling it sideways in a number of passes. The truck or dozer repeats the passes until the conveyor is fully moved into its new location.
