Brady Red 2-Lock Lockout ABS Gate Valve Lockout, 9.65 mm CGV-18

Brady CGV-18 is a red 2-lock gate valve lockout device made from injection molded acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS). Designed for industrial safety, it provides secure and reliable lockout of gate valves to prevent accidental operation during maintenance or repair. This collapsible lockout accommodates valve hand wheels up to 457 mm in diameter and folds to one third its full size for convenient storage and transport on maintenance carts or lockout kits.

The lockout device rotates easily around valve handles to completely cover and disable valve operation, accommodating OS & Y or rising stem valves with a unique knockout center. It supports up to two padlocks, with shackles up to 9.65 mm diameter, to ensure controlled and authorized access. Its rugged ABS construction offers excellent durability and resistance to environmental conditions, with a temperature service range of -40°C to 100°C.

Certified to meet UL94 HB flame retardancy standard, the CGV-18 lockout is suitable for use in factory, industrial, power plant, and other safety-critical environments. It provides a critical safety solution for lockout/tagout compliance under OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 and ANSI Standard Z244.
