The equipment consists of two bearing rollers and one loading roller all 40mm dia. The centre of bearing rollers can be set at 250mm or 270mm. The loading is done through a double lever loading system by means of a steady flow of lead shot from a container into the receiver hung on the lever system.The lead shot flow stops automatically when the specimen fails. The lead shot can be weighed and the load taken by the tile calculated by multiplying by the lever ratio is i.e. 12
