Their induction-hardened cutting edges have a hardness of approximately 64 HRC, enabling clean cuts of all wire types including piano wire.

The 150 mm Cobra® water pump pliers come with 11 locking positions for precise adjustment to various workpiece sizes and feature a non-slip PVC coating. The self-locking mechanism on tubes and nuts prevents slipping, reducing operator effort. The jaws are specially hardened to approx. 61 HRC with internal teeth providing secure gripping and high wear resistance.

The tools feature an interlocking hinge for high stability with double guidance and safe latching to prevent accidental adjustment. A protective lug also helps prevent finger pinching. The robust design includes a rivet machined directly onto an arm for durability.
