Georg Fischer 770245117 black malleable iron fitting nipple provides a reliable pipe fitting solution with male connection sizes of 1/2 inch and 1/4 inch. Constructed from malleable iron, this nipple fitting exhibits high durability and excellent resistance to temperature variations, making it ideal for demanding industrial and mechanical applications.

This hexagon nipple reducer with BSPT tapered male threads ensures secure and pressure-tight pipe connections. It's widely used in HVAC systems, plant engineering, gas and lubricant pipelines, and other fluid power applications.

The fitting conforms to international standards BS143/1256, ISO49 and thread standards BS21, ISO7/1 ensuring compatibility and quality. The black finish enhances corrosion resistance during use, although a hot dip galvanised finish option is also available for harsher environments.

It maintains a pressure rating of 25 bar at service temperatures ranging from -25°C to +120°C, and 20 bar between 120°C to 300°C, with intermediate ratings achievable by interpolation. Hot dip galvanised fittings should not be used below -10°C.
