Product Description

TREND Networks R153001 Navitek NT Network Cable Tester RJ45 is a professional-grade network tester designed for troubleshooting and maintaining active and passive copper and fibre networks, supporting Cat5e LAN category and RJ45 connector type. It is powered by four AA batteries, providing approximately 5 hours of operation, and features a backlit color LCD display for clear reading in various environments.

This device incorporates advanced testing functions such as network configuration display (IPv4 and IPv6 compatible), an advanced wiremap for detailed fault detection including miswires, split pairs, opens, and shorts, and distance to fault measurement through Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR).

The unit includes Power over Ethernet (PoE/PoE+) detection, a tone generator for cable tracing, ping and traceroute testing capabilities, hub blink for port identification, a DHCP client function, and switch detection at 10/100/1000 Mb/s speeds. Its user-exchangeable RJ45 inserts allow customization and compatibility with various wiremap remotes, supporting up to 12 remotes simultaneously.
