Product Description
Igus KGLM-16 spherical bearing is a high-performance, self-aligning plain bearing made from durable polymer materials. It features a 16mm bore diameter and 32mm outside diameter, engineered to support static radial loads up to 8 kN and axial loads of 3 kN. This bearing type is maintenance-free, designed to operate dry without lubrication while offering excellent resistance to dirt, dust, and corrosive environments.
The igubal® technology ensures long service life with high fatigue strength under dynamic load conditions. It is ideal for applications requiring low weight and chemical resistance, making it suitable for industrial machinery, laboratory equipment, agricultural machines, and fluid power systems.
The operating temperature range of -30°C to +80°C allows reliable performance in diverse climates and environments. Its polymer construction dampens vibrations effectively, enhancing operational smoothness. The spherical bearing design compensates for misalignment during assembly and operation.
Typical use cases include rotary bearings and housing units in manufacturing, automation, and control systems. This product comes from Germany, ensuring high build quality and precision engineering standards.
Key features include corrosion resistance, chemical tolerance, lightweight design at 20% of equivalent steel, and self-lubrication capability. The bearing has a 16mm bore and 32mm outside diameter. It supports a static radial load rating of 8 kN and axial load rating of 3 kN.
Operating temperature ranges from -30°C to +80°C. Made of polymer materials that resist corrosion and chemicals. Designed to run dry and is maintenance-free. Offers high fatigue strength under variable loads. Lightweight and dampens vibrations effectively.
Self-aligns to compensate for mounting misalignments.
