RS PRO 622-2155 Steel Drop In Anchor M16 x 65 mm is engineered for secure anchoring in concrete structures with compressive strength exceeding 20 N/mm2. This passivated zinc plated steel anchor provides excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical strength for reliable medium to heavy-duty fixing applications.
The drop-in anchor features an internal thread design suitable for threaded studs or bolts, enabling firm fixture attachment. Installation involves drilling a 20 mm diameter hole in the concrete, dropping the anchor in place, and using the corresponding setting punch to expand it securely within the hole. This method allows bolt removal while retaining the anchor permanently embedded for reuse.
