Product Details

Softening Point Apparatus With Diameter 30 cm is used to determine the softening point of bitumen, asphalt and coal tar. This test consists of two brass ring and two steel ball, using which the softening point of various bituminous materials are determined. It is  is defined as the temperature at which the resin flows under a given load on heating. The softening point is the temperature at which a material softens beyond some arbitrary softness.
